Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Galt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Starr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Galt kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is State of the Union by Rise Against. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Galt sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Starr somewhat.
Galt lands a head kick. Starr smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
It looks like Tommy Starr has been cut.
Starr misses with a takedown
and Galt counters with a low kick, right behind Starr 's knee.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Starr is defended easily by Galt.
John Galt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tommy Starr.
Galt takes a swing at Starr's ribcage but misses.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Starr.
Starr blocks a head kick by Galt.
Galt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Starr.

Starr throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Galt's waist but Galt gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Starr off to one side.
Starr looks gassed!

Galt lands with a slapping head kick.

Starr shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Galt as he jumps to the side.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Starr shoots in looking for a takedown. Galt tries to sprawl out of it but Starr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Galt manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Galt lands a big head kick that sends Starr to the canvas! Galt follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Galt!
