The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zilla shoots and misses
and Spar counters with a slapping leg kick.
Zilla fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Zilla.
Muay Thai Spar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of God Zilla.
Spar stuffs the takedown attempt from Zilla. Zilla gets slowly back to his feet.

and Spar counters with an outside leg kick.

A nice leg kick lands there from Spar.

Spar is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zilla's half guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Spar uses his free foot to push down on Zilla's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Zilla.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
The referee warns Zilla that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Spar is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Zilla has managed to escape the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Zilla sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

and Spar finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Spar turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

A nice inside leg kick there by Spar. That's going to slow Zilla down.
Spar lands a big head kick that sends Zilla tumbling to the mat! Spar takes a step backwards and waves Zilla back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Zilla is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
BOOM! Spar lands a beautiful left hook that drops Zilla. Zilla tries to recover but Spar is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Zilla lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Muay Thai Spar!
