Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Milke Stouks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Johnny Storm!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Stouks.
Stouks tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Storm swivels and escapes.
Stouks avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
A big left from Storm misses.
Johnny Storm seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Storm thows a left - swing and a miss!

Stouks closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Storm's guard.
Storm can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Stouks controls the pace.

Stouks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Stouks drops back looking for a leg! Storm is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Storm manages to kick Stouks off! Stouks jumps back into Storm's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stouks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stouks seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Stouks postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Stouks drops back looking for a leg! Storm is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Storm manages to kick Stouks off! Stouks jumps back into Storm's guard.

Stouks thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Storm utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stouks advances to half guard.

Stouks looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Stouks wants to work for an arm triangle but Storm is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Stouks is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Storm defends it well.
Stouks looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Stouks has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Storm defend it? Stouks steps over the head and cranks it - Storm is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Stouks!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Milke Stouks!
