Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhammad Shazlee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coleman comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Symphonies - Dan Black (ft. KiD CuDi) kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Muhammad Shazlee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lee Coleman! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Ackerman and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Shazlee. Shazlee working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Shazlee is trying to get an arm triangle but Coleman is defending well. Shazlee controlling from side mount. Shazlee is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Coleman is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Coleman is looking to reverse the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Coleman gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Shazlee is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Coleman sees it coming and defends easily. Shazlee is taking a breather. Coleman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Coleman has hold of Shazlee's hands but Shazlee slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Coleman tries to roll over but Shazlee keeps him under control. Coleman works his way to full guard. Good work. Coleman is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Coleman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Shazlee defends well. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Shazlee throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Coleman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Shazlee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Shazlee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Shazlee is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Shazlee has gone for a leg lock! Coleman slips out almost immediately though and dives into Shazlee's guard. Shazlee controlling Coleman's posture. Shazlee is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Coleman passes Shazlee's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Coleman is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Shazlee defends it well. Shazlee controlling the position well. Shazlee kicks Coleman off and gets back to his feet. Muhammad Shazlee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Shazlee has Coleman up against the cage in a clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shazlee escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Coleman shoots for a double leg takedown but Shazlee sprawls well. He's pushed Coleman's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. No luck for Coleman with that takedown attempt. Shazlee throws a hook to the side of Coleman's head but Coleman sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A punch combination from Shazlee misses. Coleman shoots for a takedown but Shazlee saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Muhammad Shazlee has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lee Coleman. Shazlee scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shazlee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Coleman sprawls well initially but Shazlee persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Shazlee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. This has been an exciting period of action! Shazlee thows a huge punch but Coleman dodges it nicely.
Coleman manages to get to full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Muhammad Shazlee will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Shazlee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Coleman to the mat! Coleman manages to get full guard. Coleman looking to sweep here. No luck so far. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Shazlee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Coleman is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Coleman has escaped and now he's on top! Shazlee knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coleman on the ground. Coleman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shazlee has Coleman pulled in close to control his posture. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Coleman slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Coleman has an Americana. Shazlee didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Coleman is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Coleman hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Lee Coleman!
