The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ARGENTINO doesn't manage to clinch there - Mac circles away.
ARGENTINO fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Mac throws a right hand that ARGENTINO ducks under and follows up with a left that ARGENTINO also avoids with ease.
Mac wants to clinch up but ARGENTINO keeps it at a distance.

ARGENTINO decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
ARGENTINO sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mac defending well though.
ARGENTINO wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mac keeps working.
Mac is trying to stand.
ARGENTINO wants to control but Mac is keeping him busy.
Mac is pressing down on ARGENTINO's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
ARGENTINO stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Mac swivels though and keeps the full guard.

ARGENTINO trying to move into half guard but instead Mac has managed to sweep!
ARGENTINO has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Mac wants to stand but ARGENTINO is controlling his posture from full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
ARGENTINO will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A jab-cross combination lands for Mac and sends ARGENTINO crashing to the mat! Mac follows him down to the mat - ARGENTINO regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

ARGENTINO is rocked!
Mac scores with a big shot! ARGENTINO's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save ARGENTINO! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
