Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Strader (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Billy Sampson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Strader comes to the cage accompanied by The Lonely Shepherd Kill Bill . Jason Strader has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jason Strader! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Sampson! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Joseph Jones and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sampson tries to land a leg kick but Strader saw it coming and moves away.
Sampson is trying hard to land a takedown here. Strader sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sampson slips under a jab. Jason Strader seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sampson is looking to clinch. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sampson. Strader closes the distance but Sampson moves to the side and Sampson counters with a nice double leg into side control. Strader won't be happy with that. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Strader sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Strader moves into full guard.
Sampson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Strader swivels though and keeps the full guard. Strader is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sampson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Sampson stopping the sweep attempt from Strader. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Sampson accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Sampson controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Sampson tries to stand but Strader is controlling from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sampson engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Billy Sampson has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Sampson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sampson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Strader tries to close the distance and clinch but Sampson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sampson shoots in but no luck this time. Jason Strader has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Sampson. Sampson lands a left and a right that send Strader crashing to the mat, dazed. Sampson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Jason Strader has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Strader jabs at Sampson's body. Strader scores with a jab. Sampson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Nice takedown defense from Sampson. No joy for Strader on that attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Strader connects with a single shot there. Sampson tries a head kick but it misses.
Strader throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sampson's waist but Sampson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Strader off to one side. Strader gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sampson to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sampson working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Sampson wants to control from the top but Strader keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Strader is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sampson is sitting in close to Strader's body. Strader has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Sampson is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Sampson is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Strader.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jason Strader! A relieved looking Jason Strader thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
