Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Murilo Dos Alva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jin Demon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Murilo Dos Alva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jin Demon! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dos Alva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Demon circles away quickly and effectively. Dos Alva throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Demon counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Dos Alva takes one to the side of the head.
Demon shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Dos Alva pinned against the cage. Dos Alva gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dos Alva throws a combination. Demon tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Demon misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Dos Alva is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Demon's half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Dos Alva wants to free his trapped foot but Demon is holding on for dear life with his legs. Dos Alva is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Demon has managed to free his arm - good work. Demon pushes Dos Alva off looking to stand but Dos Alva dives back in and keeps control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Alva controlling the action here. Demon really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dos Alva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Dos Alva seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Demon for as long as he can get away with. Demon trying to hold on to Dos Alva's head to control him but Dos Alva postures up.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dos Alva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Demon looks to clinch and Dos Alva counters with a one-two to the body. Demon throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Demon counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Demon takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Demon tries to clinch but Dos Alva moves out of range. Demon shoots in but no luck this time. Demon showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Dos Alva.
Dos Alva uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Demon.
Demon shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dos Alva as he jumps to the side. Murilo Dos Alva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jin Demon.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Demon misses with a jab, cross combination.
Demon tries to bum rush Dos Alva with a series of wild strikes but Dos Alva uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dos Alva circles away from the clinch attempt.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Dos Alva. Demon trying to remain calm as Dos Alva controls from the top position. The strikes coming from Dos Alva are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Dos Alva working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Dos Alva wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Demon, who protects the arm well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dos Alva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dos Alva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Demon is pushing Dos Alva's head away, looking to escape. Dos Alva manages to hold on to the position though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dos Alva cracks Demon with an elbow. That is naaassty. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Demon is trying to escape the position but Dos Alva is controlling the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Murilo Dos Alva dominated that round. The cut man is working on Murilo Dos Alva's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Dos Alva lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Dos Alva lands a two punch combo.
Demon jabbing away but nothing is landing. Murilo Dos Alva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Demon misses with a hook to the body
and Dos Alva counters with a nice uppercut. Sloppy strikes from Dos Alva. Those never looked like landing. Dos Alva tries to bum rush Demon with a series of wild strikes but Demon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Dos Alva dodges the punch combination from Demon.

Dos Alva dives in and scores a takedown into Demon's guard. Demon controls Dos Alva momentarily but Dos Alva frees himself. Demon looking for a sweep. Not yet Demon, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dos Alva slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Dos Alva is trying to get an arm triangle but Demon is defending well. Dos Alva tries for a kimura but Demon is defending well. Dos Alva is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Demon will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Demon tries to escape but Dos Alva is in control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dos Alva controls the position. Dos Alva throws a strike aimed at the side of Demon's head but Demon avoids it well. That's three minutes gone in the round. BOOM! Dos Alva connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Dos Alva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Demon is looking to escape. Dos Alva looking to control and managing it successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Demon tries to hold on but Dos Alva pushes him away. Demon taking shots to the head. Dos Alva landing punches.
Demon is rocked! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Demon is trying desperately to improve position. Demon is still in real trouble! Can Dos Alva finish him? Murilo Dos Alva overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dos Alva looking to control but Demon is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Demon tries to buck Dos Alva off so he can stand up but Dos Alva has got his back now - this could be big trouble! He's slapped on a rear naked choke that looks really tight! Demon falls backwards, slamming Dos Alva to the mat but Dos Alva holds on tight! Demon is forced to tap and this one is all over!
