Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Tompkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Bobbertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tompkins might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dying Fetus - One Shot, One Kill. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, John Mangel and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tompkins throws a nice looking combination but Bobbertson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Bobbertson thuds a left hand into Tompkins's body.
Tompkins looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Bobbertson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Tompkins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Tompkins swats away the attempt to clinch by Bobbertson.
Steve Tompkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A combination from Tompkins does no damage.
Bobbertson throws a head kick that misses.
Tompkins misses with a kick to the body
and Bobbertson counters with a head kick that drops Tompkins to the mat! Tompkins scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!

Bobbertson throws a lazy right hand but Tompkins sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Tompkins drops Bobbertson with a left and a right! Oh, Bobbertson is hurt - Tompkins dives into side control looking to finish!
It looks like Bobby Bobbertson has been cut.
Bobbertson tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tompkins prevents Bobbertson from escaping the position.
Bobbertson can't do much from the bottom here.

Tompkins misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Bobbertson tries to lock up and control but Tompkins gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Tompkins lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Tompkins lands a big shot to the head and Bobbertson winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
