The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hovila throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rogan closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hovila's guard.
Rogan drops back looking for a leg! Hovila is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hovila manages to kick Rogan off! Rogan jumps back into Hovila's guard.
Hovila trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from!
Rogan passes into half guard.
Rogan is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Hovila tries to kick Rogan off but Rogan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Rogan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hovila is trying to stand.
Hovila has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rogan is working away from the top position though.
Rogan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Hovila defends it well.

Hovila looking for submissions off his back.
Rogan has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Hovila defend it? Rogan steps over the head and cranks it - Hovila is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Rogan!
