The crowd seem to be enjoying Nunn's choice of entrance music: Drop The World - Lil Wayne. Reece Nunn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Coco Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Reece Nunn!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Martin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Nunn looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Martin wants to control but Nunn is keeping him busy.

Martin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nunn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Martin working away.
Martin looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Nunn is avoiding damage well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Martin works to advance to full mount. Nunn defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Martin jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Nunn manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Nunn struggling a bit here.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Martin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Martin in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Martin is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Nunn is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Martin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Nunn, who protects the arm well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Martin prevents Nunn from escaping the position.
Martin tries to stand but Nunn is controlling his head.

Martin tries for a kimura but Nunn is defending well.

Martin decides to take the fight back to the feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Martin closes this distance looking for a takedown but Nunn circles away.
Nunn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Martin is breathing heavily.

Nunn lands a left and a right that send Martin crashing to the mat, dazed. Nunn thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nunn will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nunn throws a right hand that Martin ducks under and follows up with a left that Martin also avoids with ease.

Nunn has taken the fight to the clinch.

Nunn breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Martin slips a jab and a cross from Nunn.
Nunn lands a jab to the nose.
Martin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nunn pinned against the cage. Nunn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Martin fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Coco Martin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Nunn has cracked Martin with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Nunn lands another huge swinging hook and Martin tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Martin, before Nunn can land any more shots!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Reece Nunn!
