Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Malcomn Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johhny Stan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown swings for the body but Stan moves out of range.
Stan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Brown avoids a punch combination nicely.
Brown tries to close the distance and clinch but Stan swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Stan misses with a head kick.
Brown throws a lazy right hand but Stan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Brown shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Stan manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Brown sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stan's guard.
Stan wants to control but Brown is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Brown scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Brown winds up and cracks Stan with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Brown seems to be working for a kimura but Stan defends the submission attempt.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brown prevents Stan from improving his position.

Stan tries to escape but Brown is in control.

Brown goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Stan rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Brown's guard! Nice work there by Stan!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stan forces his way into half guard.

Brown trying to hold on to Stan's head to control him but Stan postures up.
Brown is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Brown is trying to control but can't.
Stan not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Brown is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Stan's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Stan's back!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Brown is looking for the choke from the back position but Stan is controlling his hands well.

Stan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Brown kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Brown is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Stan has his hands clasped together but Brown extends an breaks Stan's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Brown.
