Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nicolai Vladimier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kaleb Forrest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kaleb Forrest will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nicolai Vladimier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaleb Forrest! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Forrest shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vladimier as he jumps to the side. Vladimier feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Vladimier thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Vladimier in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Vladimier tries to free his leg and advance position but Forrest is retaining full guard. Forrest is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Vladimier is controlling him. Vladimier wants to pass the guard but Forrest is keeping the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vladimier thows a big elbow that misses. Vladimier drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vladimier jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Vladimier with a lazy takedown attempt and Forrest counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Forrest. Vladimier is breathing heavily. Forrest wants to control from the top but Vladimier keeps moving. Vladimier tries to strike from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vladimier looking to hit a scissor sweep but Forrest is one step ahead there. Forrest tries to free his leg and advance position but Vladimier is retaining full guard. Vladimier keeping moving, preventing Forrest from controlling successfully. Forrest throws a big right hand that misses. Vladimier is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Forrest is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Vladimier looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Forrest stopping the sweep attempt from Vladimier. Forrest is looking to work some ground and pound but Vladimier has wrist control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Forrest loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Forrest trying to control but Vladimier is working from the bottom. Vladimier utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Forrest drops back looking for a leg! Vladimier is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vladimier manages to kick Forrest off! Forrest jumps back into Vladimier's guard. Vladimier wants to sweep but no luck.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Vladimier gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Forrest decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Vladimier's guard. Vladimier manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Vladimier prevents Forrest from getting the reversal. Forrest is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Forrest is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Vladimier blocks Forrest's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. Vladimier with shots to the head and body - Forrest looks very uncomfortable down there. Vladimier has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Forrest's face.

Vladimier goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Forrest is on top in guard.
Vladimier has his foot on Forrest's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Forrest works his way back into a safe position though. Vladimier is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Vladimier is looking for a triangle but Forrest pushes his legs off easily.
Vladimier is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Vladimier is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Forrest defends it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This has been an exciting period of action! Vladimier frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Forrest is trying to escape the mount.
Vladimier looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Vladimier working for a guillotine from mount but Forrest is in no mood to give up. Vladimier looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Vladimier is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Forrest has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Forrest! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Forrest thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Vladimier if he has to take too many more of those.
Vladimier shoots and misses and Forrest counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Vladimier is looking to improve his position.
Vladimier is refusing to be controlled, as Forrest sits in half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Vladimier manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Vladimier working for a triangle but Forrest defends it easily.
