Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nahu Timoko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Hancock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nahu Timoko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, John Hancock! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Timoko darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Timoko could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Timoko controlling the action here. Timoko throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Timoko prevents Hancock from standing back up.
Timoko has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Timoko avoids the attempt from Hancock to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hancock gets back to half guard. Timoko is trying to control the action in half guard but Hancock is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Timoko slows the pace down in half guard. Hancock blocking the ground and pound attempt from Timoko. Timoko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hancock is just riding it out for now. Timoko eventually gives up the hold. Hancock is trying to maintain the position but Timoko is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hancock looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Timoko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hancock on the ground. Timoko trying to control the action but Hancock is working from the bottom. Hancock holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Hancock looking for submissions off his back. Timoko sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hancock defending well though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hancock is looking to control Timoko's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Hancock avoid being mounted? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hancock tries to roll over but Timoko keeps him under control.
OK we're going to have a standup here. John Hancock hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Hancock throws a head kick but Timoko moves out of range.
Timoko throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hancock was covering up waiting for the punch and Timoko finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hancock working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Timoko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Timoko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Timoko working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Timoko is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Hancock is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Hancock has escaped and now he's on top! Timoko pulls Hancock in close to his closed guard and prevents Hancock from doing any damage or advancing position. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hancock looking to pass the guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Nahu Timoko will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hancock gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Timoko is trying to stand back up but Hancock is controlling him
Hancock wants to control but Timoko is keeping him busy. Timoko trying to control but Hancock postures up.
Timoko is trying to get back to full guard. Hancock postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Timoko to stand up. A solid body kick from Hancock. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Timoko takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hancock connects with an inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hancock throws a nice inside leg kick. Hancock lands a brutal head kick. Timoko looks out on his feet and Hancock throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick and Punches). John Hancock! John Hancock was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
