The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Columbo Gatti and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chulainn's corner calls for a 1-2. Chulainn obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Chulainn avoids the head kick by Copley.
Copley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chulainn pinned against the cage. Chulainn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Copley misses with a takedown attempt
letting Chulainn counter with a right hand.
Copley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Chulainn is fending him off so far but Copley persists. Nope, Chulainn circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Doug Copley. That's going to take a lot out of him.

and Chulainn scores with a counter punch that sends Copley to the canvas! Chulainn smells blood - he's punishing Copley with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Copley has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Cu Chulainn!
Cu Chulainn really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that SPARTA FIGHTWARE-GTI logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
