Emelianenko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star Re-Mix. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Emelianenko fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kimble manages to avoid it.
Emelianenko throws a big shot that misses.
Emelianenko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kimble throws out the jab.
Kimble scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Emelianenko stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Emelianenko closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Fedor Emelianenko has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kimble throws a right and a left that both miss.

Kimble cracks Emelianenko with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Emelianenko looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Kimble finish him?
Kimble bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Emelianenko ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kimble moves away.
Kimble connects with a nice looking jab.

Emelianenko is rocked!
Emelianenko drops his hands for a split second and Kimble immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Emelianenko face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Kimble follows up with a right hand that knocks Emelianenko into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
