Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Charly Wingate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Garry Dupuis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dupuis has chosen Warriors Of Time by Black Tide as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wingate fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Dupuis manages to avoid it.
No luck for Dupuis with that takedown attempt.
Wingate throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dupuis's head.
Dupuis closes this distance looking for a takedown but Wingate circles away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wingate. Dupuis does a little dance to reset his feet.

Dupuis doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Wingate gets tackled into the cage by Dupuis. Dupuis maintains the clinch.

Wingate misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Wingate creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Dupuis sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Wingate misses with an attempted head punch from side control.
Dupuis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Dupuis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Dupuis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wingate swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Dupuis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Dupuis shoots for a double leg takedown but Wingate sprawls well. He's pushed Dupuis's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Well Dupuis has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
