Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Dookie Stainz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Forest Speyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dookie Stainz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Forest Speyer!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Donatello Bradman and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Speyer instigates a clinch.
Speyer digs a right hand underneath Stainz's ribcage. Stainz let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Stainz is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Speyer prevents the takedown attempt.
Speyer tries to pull guard but Stainz won't allow it.

Stainz escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Speyer moves into the clinch.

Stainz gets a trip takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Speyer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stainz pulls his head out easily.
Speyer wants to control but Stainz passes into side.
Speyer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Stainz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Stainz in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Speyer wants to control but Stainz postures up.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Stainz stands up.
Speyer fails with an attempt to clinch.

Stainz shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Speyer manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Speyer looking for a sweep. Not yet Speyer, not yet.
Stainz won't allow Speyer to get back to his feet.

Speyer is working an open guard so Stainz takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stainz stuffs the takedown.
Speyer tries for a takedown but Stainz circles away easily

and Stainz counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Dookie Stainz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Forest Speyer.
Speyer looks gassed!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stainz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Stainz is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Speyer wants to sweep here but Stainz controlling him for the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stainz won't allow Speyer to get back to his feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Dookie Stainz wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Stainz tries to clinch up but Speyer circles away and keeps his distance.

Stainz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Speyer looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Speyer wants to control but Stainz postures up.
Stainz controlling the position.
Speyer trying his best to control but Stainz has mounted him.

Stainz is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Speyer to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Speyer shrugs it off.
Speyer tries to improve his position but instead Stainz has taken his back!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stainz controls the position.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Speyer is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Speyer holding both Stainz 's hands and preventing any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dookie Stainz dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!


Speyer tries to clinch up but Stainz circles away and keeps his distance.

Speyer scores a takedown into full mount!
Stainz is desperately trying to improve his position but Speyer has a good base and remains in mount.
Stainz is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Stainz sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Speyer is trying to control. Stainz wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Speyer wants to pass the guard but Stainz is defending well.
Stainz is looking to improve his position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stainz moves into full guard.
Stainz controlling the position.

Stainz pushes a forearm under Speyer's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Speyer is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Dookie Stainz!
