Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between me Mongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Boru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boru comes into a darkened arena with his song building. rocky kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The Boru is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, me Mongo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, The Boru! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mongo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The fight stays on the outside here - Mongo looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mongo tries to clinch but Boru is having none of it. Mongo throws a series of punches but Boru moves out of range. Mongo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mongo scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Mongo throws a sloppy head kick and Boru moves out of range easily. Boru avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Mongo tries to land a front kick but Boru steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Boru closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Boru lands in his opponent's guard. Mongo wants to stand up but Boru is controlling him. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Boru stands and throws Mongo's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Boru staying calm. Boru decides to stand back up. Mongo gets caught flat footed, as Boru shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Boru seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Boru working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Mongo wants to get back to his feet but Boru is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Boru sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mongo's guard. Boru takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boru has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Mongo defend it? Boru steps over the head and cranks it - Mongo is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Boru!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). The Boru! The Boru was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
