Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nemanja Prijovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 8 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ivan Potapkin!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Igor Prikhodko and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Potapkin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Prijovic.
Prijovic clobbers Potapkin with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Prijovic lands a nice looking body shot.
Prijovic punishes Potapkin's body with a nice straight punch.
Prijovic rushes Potapkin and presses him up against the cage.
Potapkin tries to pull guard but Prijovic holds him up against the cage and eventually Potapkin drops back down to his feet.
Prijovic controlling the action here for a moment.
Prijovic lands with a left to the head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Prijovic scores with a shot to the side of Potapkin's head.
Prijovic softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Prijovic working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Potapkin is rocked!
Prijovic misses with the head strike.
Potapkin is still on wobbly legs! Can Prijovic finish him?
Prijovic swings wildly with an uppercut but Potapkin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Prijovic throws a punch but it's blocked by Potapkin.
Potapkin seems to have recovered his senses.
Prijovic creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Potapkin with a big uppercut! Potapkin tries to clinch up but Prijovic pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Potapkin to the mat! Potapkin covers up and Prijovic unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Nemanja Prijovic!
