Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dimitri Petrov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andre Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andre Perkins told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andre Perkins!
The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Dean Styles and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Petrov - that will leave a mark!
Petrov lands a nice shot that snaps Perkins's head back.
Perkins has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Petrov scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Perkins doesn't seem bothered though.
Petrov smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Andre Perkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Perkins takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Petrov throws a good cross that connects.
Petrov lands a left and a right that send Perkins crashing to the mat, dazed. Petrov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Perkins is rocked!
Perkins doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Petrov counters with a thumping low kick.
Perkins looks gassed!
Petrov throws a leg kick which misses Perkins's front leg but catches the back leg as Perkins tries to avoid it.
Perkins dives in and grabs Petrov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Petrov pushes down on Perkins's head and hops out.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Petrov.
Petrov cracks a nice hook into Perkins's ribs.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Petrov looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Petrov dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Petrov scores with a head kick. Perkins tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Petrov connects with an inside leg kick.
Petrov throws a quick inside leg kick.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Petrov drops Perkins with a beautiful combination! Perkins stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Petrov is looking for the KO!
Perkins is still on wobbly legs! Can Petrov finish him?
Dimitri Petrov is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Petrov plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Perkins swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Perkins face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Dimitri Petrov!
