Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Hogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Rojas does no damage. Rojas closes the distance and clinches. Rojas is trying to break the clinch but Hogan has him pressed against the cage. Rojas gets control of Hogan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Rojas will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Rojas is looking for a triangle here but Hogan uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Rojas is trying to get back to half guard. Hogan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Rojas knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Hogan lands a decent elbow from side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hogan is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Rojas is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Rojas is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Hogan is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hogan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Rojas to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Rojas shrugs it off. Hogan wants to finish this one by submission but Rojas is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Hogan. Rojas working to try and regain half guard.

Randy Hogan dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Rojas clinches up with Hogan and pushes him back against the cage. Rojas breaks the clinch.
Rojas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Hogan at a distance.
Rojas goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Hogan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rojas manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Rojas pulls Hogan in close to prevent any damage. Hogan won't allow Rojas to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hogan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Rojas working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Hogan has passed into half guard!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rojas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Rojas tries to kick Hogan off but Hogan keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Hogan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rojas has managed to free his arm - good work.

Rojas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rojas isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hogan stacks Rojas on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hogan! Rojas pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hogan is out of range and Rojas settles back down. Rojas fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Hogan, pushing him back against the cage. Rojas lands a takedown into guard.
Hogan is looking for a triangle but Rojas pushes his legs off easily.
Hogan has his foot on Rojas's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rojas works his way back into a safe position though. Rojas wants to get up but he can't break Hogan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Hogan had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rojas defends it easily. Hogan looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

It looks like he's going for a triangle but Rojas is defending well. Hogan quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Rojas has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Hogan celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
