Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marco Todd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frank Castle!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Todd connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Castle scrambles back to his feet.
Todd misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Castle lands a slapping body shot.
Castle scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
Todd fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Castle on the side of the head.
Todd scores with a nice right hand.
Todd misses with a jab, cross combination.
Todd misses with a series of wild punches.
Todd ducks right into an uppercut from Castle.


It looks like Marco Todd has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Castle's corner calls for a 1-2. Castle obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Castle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Todd.

Castle shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.


It looks like Frank Castle has been cut.

Castle throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Todd ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Castle moves away.
Castle ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Castle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Castle dodges the punch combination from Todd.
Todd thuds his shin into the meat of Castle's side.
Castle throws the left hand but Todd avoids the punch easily.

and Castle counters with a right hand to the body.
Todd rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Castle moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Todd throws a push kick but Castle slaps the foot to one side.
Castle takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Todd lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Marco Todd seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Castle might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Good leg kick by Todd there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Todd lands with a slapping head kick.

Todd looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Todd has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Todd there as he acknowledges the shot.
Todd connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Castle momentarily.

Todd throws a leg kick which misses Castle's front leg but catches the back leg as Castle tries to avoid it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Todd takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Todd throws a wild body kick that Castle sees coming a mile off.

and Todd counters with a solid body kick.

Castle closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Todd prevents a body shot from Castle.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Todd.
Castle's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Todd misses with some punches.
Todd tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Todd is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Castle is keeping busy.
Todd fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Castle tries to throw a body punch but Todd avoids it by throwing Castle back against the cage.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Castle tries a body shot but Todd blocks it.
A head punch on the inside from Todd fails to land.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Todd creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Todd wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Castle lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Frank Castle will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

and Castle counters with a lovely shot to the body.

and Castle counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.


Todd is rocked!
Todd walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Castle swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Frank Castle!
An out of breath Frank Castle thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
