The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dube avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Dube misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Gump.
Gump throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Gump throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Gump lands with a shot to the body.
Dube misses with a right hand
and Gump counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dube tries to clinch up but Gump circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Dube misses the target.

Dube gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Gump.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dube on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Dube takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Gump lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Dube misses with a straight right.
Doris Dube seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gump ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Gump lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dube at a distance.
Gump throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Gump connects with a body shot that sends Dube's belly button to the back.
Gump listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That has opened up Doris Dube's cut even more.
Gump connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Dube! He's out on his feet! Gump rushes in and drops Dube with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
