Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ubbu Lindo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pistol Robinson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pistol Robinson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Robinson lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Ubbu Lindo has been cut.
Robinson gets the takedown into side control.
Lindo pushes Robinson away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Robinson gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Robinson decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lindo to his feet.
Lindo looks for a takedown but Robinson sprawls well.
Lindo leaves Robinson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
No luck for Robinson with that takedown attempt.

Lindo throws a lazy right hand but Robinson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lindo fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Robinson checks it well.

Lindo is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Robinson to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Robinson shrugs it off.

Lindo has hold of Robinson's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Robinson manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Ubbu Lindo was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
