Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Blanks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, roushgt rambo!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rambo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blanks's waist but Blanks gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing rambo off to one side.
rambo shoots in but no luck this time.
Blanks tries to clinch but rambo is having none of it.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Blanks. rambo shrugs it off though.
Blanks moves into range and clinches up with rambo.
Blanks tries to score a body lock takedown but rambo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
rambo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Billy Blanks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of roushgt rambo.

Blanks decides to pull guard.
Blanks knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for rambo on the ground.

Blanks is looking to stand up but rambo isn't so interested in that idea.
Blanks wants to sweep here but rambo controlling him for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
rambo avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
rambo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and rambo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
rambo won't allow Blanks to get back to his feet.
Blanks wants to sweep here but rambo controlling him for the moment.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Blanks circles away from the clinch attempt
and Blanks counters with a body kick.
rambo shoots and misses
and Blanks counters with a two punch combo.
Blanks shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with rambo but rambo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
rambo wants to clinch but Blanks slips to the side
and Blanks counters with a series of strikes. rambo will be more careful next time no doubt.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Blanks closes the distance and clinches.
Blanks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blanks misses with a head kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from rambo.
rambo looks gassed!
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Blanks!
rambo is rocked!
A head kick by Blanks - that's a beauty! rambo is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Blanks can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
