The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Takamura clinches.
Petkov changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Takamura fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Mamoru Takamura seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Petkov throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Takamura.

Petkov gets to his feet - Takamura follows without any prompting.

Takamura pulls guard.
Petkov trying to control the position from guard on top but Takamura is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Takamura wants to get back to his feet but Petkov is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Takamura has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Petkov should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Takamura has tightened it up now! Petkov should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
