The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Challa lands with a nice body punch.
Challa jabs Kent to the body, keeping him at a distance.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Kent.
A punch combination from Kent misses.
Kent with a poor takedown
and Challa counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Challa, right into the meat.
Kent is breathing heavily.
Challa swinging wildly here.
Kent takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
This has been an exciting period of action!
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Kent crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Challa - the referee stops the clock and Kent gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Challa. Kent manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Challa throws a nice outside leg kick.
Challa lands a nice shot to the body.
Kent takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
It looks like Clark Kent has been cut.
A slapping leg kick lands for Challa.
Challa dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Challa lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Challa buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Challa lands a head kick!
Kent is rocked!
Challa and Kent are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Challa throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Kent into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Challa knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). T Challa!
