Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bret Bowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshihiro Kondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoshihiro Kondo!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Kondo moves into the clinch.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kondo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bowen has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kondo has managed to get both his arms back between Bowen's legs - danger averted.
Kondo is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bret Bowen will probably get the nod.
That's time! Bowen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Kondo shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Bowen eats them both and turns towards Kondo to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kondo scores with a three punch combo!
Bowen tries for a takedown but Kondo circles away easily
letting Kondo counter with a right hand.

Kondo closes the distance and clinches.
A nice left hand lands by Kondo.
Kondo scores with a hook to the body.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kondo creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kondo has clasped his hands together around Bowen's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Kondo works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Kondo lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.


Bowen is rocked!
Kondo cracks Bowen with a big right hand but Bowen just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Oh Bowen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bowen tries to buck Kondo off but Kondo is having none of it.
Kondo is working Bowen over with some ground and pound from side control.
Kondo is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Bowen will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.

Kondo lands a strong strike to the head of Bowen. That's dazed him! Kondo looking to finish here. Bowen is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kondo lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Yoshihiro Kondo!
