PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anto The Reaper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Giovani Sobrinho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Luis Engracia and Seu Braga.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Reaper dodges the punch combination from Sobrinho.
The Reaper looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
The Reaper shoots for a double leg takedown but Sobrinho sprawls well. He's pushed The Reaper's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
The Reaper misses with a jab, cross combination.

Sobrinho changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The Reaper looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Sobrinho decides to stand up, so the ref orders The Reaper to his feet.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Sobrinho and The Reaper goes tumbling to the canvas! Sobrinho follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

It looks like Anto The Reaper has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sobrinho lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Sobrinho gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Sobrinho dances in with a quick combination. The Reaper is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Sobrinho snaps The Reaper's head back. The Reaper stumbles backwards against the cage. Sobrinho steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with The Reaper's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. The Reaper just didn't come prepared.
