Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Niedziela (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Talos Dovahkiin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dovahkiin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Dragonborn Comes. Talos Dovahkiin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Peter Niedziela!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Talos Dovahkiin!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dovahkiin dips to his left and cracks Niedziela with an uppercut!
Niedziela tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Dovahkiin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Niedziela misses with a head kick.
Niedziela fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dovahkiin avoids it really well and circles away.
Peter Niedziela seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown by Niedziela or perhaps it was just good defense by Dovahkiin which made him look bad.
Dovahkiin takes a swing at Niedziela's ribcage but misses.
Niedziela avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Dovahkiin leaves Niedziela with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Peter Niedziela. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Niedziela throws a chopping leg kick but Dovahkiin manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Niedziela misses with a combination
and Dovahkiin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Niedziela is trying to control the position but Dovahkiin postures up.

Niedziela looking to hit a scissor sweep but Dovahkiin is one step ahead there.
Dovahkiin is working Niedziela over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Dovahkiin trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Dovahkiin passes into half guard.
Dovahkiin is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Niedziela doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dovahkiin.
Dovahkiin throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Niedziela trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Dovahkiin manages to pass to mount!
A nice elbow there by Dovahkiin.
Dovahkiin wants to control the pace but Niedziela is squirming around nicely.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Niedziela is looking to improve his position but Dovahkiin isn't that keen on the idea.
Niedziela tries to lock up and control but Dovahkiin gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Dovahkiin tries to push Niedziela's head away but Niedziela is holding on tight.
Niedziela is breathing heavily.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Dovahkiin tries to control but Niedziela wriggling away.

Dovahkiin cracks Niedziela with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Niedziela could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dovahkiin lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Niedziela! Dovahkiin sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Niedziela and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Talos Dovahkiin!
