Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sid Bristol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Core (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sid Bristol! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Al Core! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Summer Carpenter and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bristol will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Horrible takedown by Core or perhaps it was just good defense by Bristol which made him look bad. Bristol stuffs the takedown attempt from Core. Core gets slowly back to his feet. Sid Bristol seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Core looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Sid Bristol has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Al Core. Bristol lands a nice looking body shot.
Core looks for a takedown but Bristol sprawls well. Bristol looks to land a combination but Core avoids it well. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Bristol connects with a good right hand that stumbles Core. Core circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Bristol lands a jab to Core's midsection. Bristol lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Bristol shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Bristol is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Core defends it well. Core is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bristol looks to land a strike but Core avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Bristol postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Core is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bristol, into his guard. Bristol working for a triangle but Core defends it easily.
Bristol can't keep his opponent in guard - Core advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Core looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bristol is looking to improve his position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bristol is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are battling for position here. Bristol manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bristol manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Bristol goes for an armbar but Core turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Core. Core is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Bristol is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Bristol has escaped and now he's on top! Core looks gassed! Bristol advances to half guard. Core gets full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sid Bristol dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Bristol lands a jab to Core's midsection. Bristol lands the left hand. Bristol scores with the left hand. Core knows he should have avoided that one. Core shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bristol counters with a stiff right hand. Bristol connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Core is rocked! Bristol lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Core is still on wobbly legs! Can Bristol finish him? Bristol connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Core tumbling to the canvas! Bristol pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Core was done - good stoppage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Sid Bristol!
