Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Clarksdale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Nunez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Isaac Clarksdale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oscar Nunez!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clarksdale tries to clinch there but Nunez circles away.
Clarksdale moves forwards but Nunez connects with a nice, crisp jab.
The crowd cheers as Clarksdale lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nunez doesn't seem phased though.

Clarksdale takes the fight into the clinch.
Nunez is trying to break the clinch but Clarksdale is controlling him.
Nunez wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Nunez is looking to break free of the clinch but Clarksdale has double underhooks.
Clarksdale has Nunez pressed against the cage, preventing Nunez from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Nunez is trying to push Clarksdale away but Clarksdale has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Nunez breaks from the clinch.
Nunez lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Clarksdale backs up against the cage.
Clarksdale will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Clarksdale's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Clarksdale displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nunez.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Nunez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Clarksdale shoots in looking for a takedown. Nunez tries to sprawl out of it but Clarksdale keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Nunez manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Clarksdale tries to close the distance and clinch but Nunez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Nunez lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Clarksdale doesn't manage to clinch there - Nunez circles away.
Nice straight punches there by Nunez. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Nunez.
Nunez avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Clarksdale shoots for a takedown but Nunez saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Oscar Nunez hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Clarksdale takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Isaac Clarksdale is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Clarksdale throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Clarksdale tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nunez paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Isaac Clarksdale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Nunez feints a jab promting Clarksdale to slip. Nunez then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Clarksdale slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Nunez catches Clarksdale with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

The referee is keeping an eye on Clarksdale - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Clarksdale fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Nunez avoids it really well and circles away.
Clarksdale looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

Clarksdale throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and Nunez counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Clarksdale! He's just covering up as Nunez starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Oscar Nunez!
An out of breath Oscar Nunez thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
