Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between John Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cottontail Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rabbit has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Cottontail Rabbit is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

0 - 50 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cottontail Rabbit! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Paulo Santos and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones scores with a hook to the body. Rabbit takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Jones connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. John Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jones cracks Rabbit with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rabbit looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Rabbit looks gassed! Rabbit takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Jones waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Rabbit. Jones darts in and clinches Rabbit up against the cage. Jones pushes off an throws an elbow but Rabbit leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Jones connects with a knee to the head.
