Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Olof Hellstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Peeps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hellstrom comes to the cage accompanied by Bring me everyone! (Mustasch). Peeps has chosen Beastie Boys - Sabotage as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Olof Hellstrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Joe Peeps!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Winston Howard and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hellstrom misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Peeps makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Hellstrom shoots for a double leg takedown but Peeps sprawls well. He's pushed Hellstrom's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Peeps avoids a punch combination nicely.
Peeps keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hellstrom changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Peeps tries to avoid it but Hellstrom manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Peeps to the ground. Peeps escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Peeps throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

and Hellstrom counters with a nice double leg into guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Peeps seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Olof Hellstrom wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Peeps misses with a hook
and Hellstrom counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Hellstrom takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Peeps stuns Hellstrom with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Hellstrom ducks right into an uppercut from Peeps.
Peeps looks to land a combination but Hellstrom avoids it well.
Joe Peeps seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hellstrom keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Peeps.
Hellstrom steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Peeps.

A cross from Peeps lands.
Peeps ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Peeps lands a nice hook to Hellstrom's body. Hellstrom takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Hellstrom is breathing heavily.
Peeps thuds a left hand into Hellstrom's body.

Peeps looks to score with a jab to the body but Hellstrom is just out of range.
Peeps lands a jab to Hellstrom's midsection.
Hellstrom avoids the body shot from Peeps.
Peeps jabs Hellstrom right on the nose. Hellstrom blinks but takes it well.
Hellstrom is rocked!
Hellstrom walks into a stiff left hand from Peeps.
Oh Hellstrom is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Peeps throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hellstrom stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Hellstrom seems to have got his legs back now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Peeps scores with a jab to the body.
Peeps connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Peeps fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hellstrom on the side of the head.

Peeps tries to bum rush Hellstrom with a series of wild strikes but Hellstrom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Peeps throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Peeps lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Peeps drops Hellstrom with a huge uppercut! Hellstrom drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Peeps is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Peeps!
