The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crews tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Puggles manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Puggles fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Crews's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Puggles connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Crews scrambles back to his feet.
Crews tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Puggles swivels and escapes.

DJ Puggles has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Landon Crews.
Puggles shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crews as he avoids it easily.

Oooooh!!! Puggles has knocked Crews down with a huge combo! Puggles steps away and waves a wobbly Crews back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Puggles swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Puggles counters with a nice right hand that sends Crews toppling to the canvas! Crews scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Puggles finish him?!
Crews is still on wobbly legs! Can Puggles finish him?
Crews is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Puggles just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Crews has gone limp and this one is over!
