The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Ackerman and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Geldof tries for a takedown but Deldiago circles away easily
so Deldiago counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Deldiago stays in close to Geldof's body and controls the position.
Geldof is trying to keep Deldiago in close.
Geldof looks gassed!
Deldiago works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Deldiago stands up and beckons Geldof to join him on the feet.
Deldiago closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Deldiago has hold of Geldof's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Geldof tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Deldiago cranks the arm and Geldof screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Geldof, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
