Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Decimus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Jalenpeno (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Decimus comes to the cage accompanied by Vamos Campeon. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Summer Carpenter and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decimus cracks the inside of Jalenpeno's front leg.
Jalenpeno is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Decimus closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jalenpeno circles away.
Decimus drops Jalenpeno with a nice combination! Decimus dives into Jalenpeno's guard, looking to finish!
Jalenpeno is rocked!
It looks like Jose Jalenpeno has been cut.
Decimus thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Decimus works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Decimus wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jalenpeno keeps working.
Decimus is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jalenpeno doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Decimus.
Jalenpeno tries to kick Decimus off but Decimus keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Decimus trying to control the action but Jalenpeno is working from the bottom.
Decimus is working for a kimura but Jalenpeno is defending it quite comfortably.
Decimus is breathing heavily.
Jalenpeno is trying to stand back up but Decimus is controlling him
Decimus frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Jalenpeno is desperately trying to improve his position but Decimus has a good base and remains in mount.
Decimus is working to isolate an arm here. It's a choreographed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Decimus extends the arm and Jalenpeno is forced to tap!
