Vaughn comes into the arena with Walking Tall blaring out of the sound system. Chris Vaughn has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn throws a series of punches but Sapp moves out of range.
Sapp tries to clinch up but Vaughn circles away and keeps his distance.
Vaughn misses with a looping left.
Sapp misses with a takedown
letting Vaughn counter with a right hand.
Sapp tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Vaughn paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Chris Vaughn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobba Sapp.

Sapp tries for a takedown but Vaughn circles away easily
and Vaughn counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Sapp looks gassed!
Vaughn lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Sapp gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Vaughn gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chris Vaughn!
Chris Vaughn decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
