Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tristan Alighieri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tayson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alighieri's entrance music is Machine Gun by Jimi Hendrix. A fine choice. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tayson moves into the clinch.

A frustrated look appears on Tayson's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Tayson wants to get back to striking at distance but Alighieri won't allow it.
Alighieri has Tayson pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Alighieri pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Tayson tumbling to the mat - Alighieri dives into Tayson's guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Tayson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Alighieri throws an elbow that misses. Tayson uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Alighieri's guard. Nice move by Tayson!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Tristan Alighieri has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Tayson tries to bum rush Alighieri with a series of wild strikes but Alighieri uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
