The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sunn checks a leg kick.
Sunn lands a jab-cross combination.
Sunn throws a body punch but Vermillion moves out of range.
Vermillion misses with a low kick.
Vermillion avoids the body shot from Sunn.
Sunn is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Vermillion.
Vermillion slips under a jab from Sunn.
Vermillion throws a low kick but Sunn moves out of range easily.
Sunn scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Vermillion shoots for a takedown but Sunn saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Vermillion looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
A clash of legs there as Sunn blocks the low kick.
Sunn connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Aki Sunn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Vermillion fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Sunn is out of range.

Sunn cracks Vermillion with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Sunn has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Vermillion to stand back up!

Vermillion is rocked!
Vermillion switches off momentarily and Sunn cracks him with a monster right hand! Vermillion topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Sunn dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Sunn!
