Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dan Akari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Emerson Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cain has chosen I Love this Road (Emerson Drive) as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Cain misses its intended target.
Akari tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cain swivels and escapes.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Akari trying to work for an americana but Cain has managed to regain full guard.
Akari is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Cain is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Cain has escaped and now he's on top!
Cain postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Akari is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Cain, into his guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Akari prevents Cain from getting back to his feet.

Akari throws a strike but Cain rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cain is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Akari looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cain drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cain jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Akari looking for a guillotine here but Cain defends easily.
Cain thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Akari is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Cain rolls with it to try and escape but Akari cranks on the arm and Cain is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
