Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mayhem Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shane Chojacki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mayhem Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shane Chojacki!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Russell Pearce and Franklyn Lucas.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chojacki keeps the fight on the outside.
Shane Chojacki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chojacki has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Miller.
Chojacki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Miller as he jumps to the side.
Chojacki is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Miller gets back to half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Miller is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Miller is working hard here to advance position.
Miller's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Chojacki breaks from Miller's wrist control and lands an elbow.

Chojacki is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Miller can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Miller keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Chojacki takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Miller wants to get back to his feet.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Chojacki tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Chojacki moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Miller has worked his arm free - good work by Miller!

Chojacki tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Chojacki has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

A lull in the action here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.



Chojacki changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Miller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

so Chojacki counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Miller can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Chojacki controls the pace.

Miller is trying to stand up here but Chojacki is controlling him well.

Shane Chojacki has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Chojacki shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Miller as he jumps to the side.
Miller closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Miller wants to clinch up but Chojacki keeps it at a distance.

Chojacki closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Miller quickly recovers to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Miller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Chojacki can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Chojacki ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Chojacki no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chojacki is on top in guard.

Chojacki throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chojacki off to one side.

Miller has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Chojacki wants to get back to striking at distance but Miller won't allow it.

Chojacki wants the takedown. Miller is fighting it off but Chojacki persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Miller's guard against the cage.

Mayhem Miller is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Chojacki has a takedown stuffed.
Chojacki shoots in and drives through. Miller sprawls well.
Mayhem Miller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shane Chojacki.
Miller scores with a head kick. Chojacki tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Chojacki changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miller tries to avoid it but Chojacki manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miller to the ground. Miller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Miller tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Chojacki manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Shane Chojacki is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Chojacki closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

I've got Chojacki winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
