The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Chad Campbell and Columbo Gatti.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Glisky throws a series of punches but Hall moves out of range.

Glisky looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Hall!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Glisky controlling the pace for now.
Hall is looking to get to half guard.
Hall is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Glisky avoids the attempt from Hall to control.
Hall working to try and regain half guard.

Glisky lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hall can't escape the position.
Glisky content just to control the position here.
Hall is in all sorts of trouble here.
Glisky is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent.
Hall really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Glisky is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hall looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Hall misses with a wild body shot.

Hall lands a jab-cross combination.
Glisky rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hall moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Hall moves out of range of the body kick from Glisky .
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Glisky slips a straight right by Hall.
Hall misses with a hook

and Glisky moves into the clinch.

Glisky breaks the clinch.
Hall moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Glisky fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hall to the ground. Glisky is now in Hall's guard.

Glisky has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hall to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Glisky is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hall pulls down on the head and he's put Glisky to sleep! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Kirk Hall!
After winning the bout, Kirk Hall thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
