Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frank McCutcheon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Tarintino (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Frank McCutcheon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tom Tarintino! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCutcheon lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Tarintino is rocked! Tarintino swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and McCutcheon counters with a good, hard body kick but Tarintino shrugs it off. Tarintino is still on wobbly legs! Can McCutcheon finish him? McCutcheon throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Tarintino seems to have recovered his senses. Tarintino drives through with a takedown into guard. McCutcheon being controlled here, momentarily. Tarintino stops McCutcheon from standing up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Tarintino sitting in guard, not really doing much. Tarintino won't allow McCutcheon to get back to his feet. Tarintino content to stall in guard here.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCutcheon wants to stand but Tarintino is controlling the position. Tarintino wants to pass the guard but McCutcheon is keeping the position. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Tarintino gets to his feet - McCutcheon follows without any prompting.

Tarintino checks a low kick from McCutcheon. McCutcheon fails with the takedown and Tarintino counters into the clinch. Nicely done. McCutcheon is breathing heavily. A body shot lands from McCutcheon.
Tarintino lands an elbow that stopped McCutcheon in his tracks for a moment. Tarintino has hold of one of McCutcheon's legs. McCutcheon is fighting the takedown attempt but Tarintino gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Tarintino controlling from the top position. I looks like Tarintino might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Tarintino passes easily into side control. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tarintino is staying tight to McCutcheon's torso, preventing him from escaping. McCutcheon knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tarintino on the ground. McCutcheon prevents Tarintino from improving position. Tarintino lands a nice forearm strike. McCutcheon is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Tarintino asserts his dominance and retains side control. McCutcheon trying to remain calm as Tarintino controls from the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McCutcheon is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. McCutcheon is being controlled here. Tarintino prevents McCutcheon from escaping the position. McCutcheon is not content to let Tarintino control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. McCutcheon tries for a takedown but Tarintino circles away easily and Tarintino counters into the clinch. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Tarintino dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Tarintino swats away the attempt to clinch by McCutcheon. McCutcheon thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Tarintino if he has to take too many more of those.

McCutcheon throws a nice looking combination but Tarintino bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Tarintino looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McCutcheon is fending him off so far but Tarintino persists. Nope, McCutcheon circles away and we're back to standing. McCutcheon gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tarintino counters with a shoot takedown. McCutcheon fights it but they end up in guard. Tarintino won't allow McCutcheon to get back to his feet. Tarintino slips nicely into half guard. Tarintino controlling the pace. Tarintino is pressing down on McCutcheon's thigh, looking to free his foot. McCutcheon is holding on for now. Tarintino slows the pace down in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCutcheon has one foot on Tarintino's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Tarintino closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Tarintino moves into full mount! Tarintino controlling the pace for now. McCutcheon is trying to stand up. Tarintino controlling his opponent. McCutcheon wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCutcheon trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Tarintino takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Tarintino with the ground and pound from mount. BOOM! Tarintino connects with a massive shot to the dome!

That's three minutes gone in the round. McCutcheon defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Tarintino. McCutcheon's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Tarintino looking to finish McCutcheon with some ground and pound. This is bad for McCutcheon! Tarintino looking to control and managing it successfully. Tarintino is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. McCutcheon can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Despite being in the dominant position, Tom Tarintino just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tarintino pushing out the jab but it's not landing. McCutcheon pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Frank McCutcheon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McCutcheon throws a right and a left that Tarintino avoids nicely. Tarintino clinches up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tom Tarintino showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Both fighters are breathing heavily. McCutcheon tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Tarintino has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics McCutcheon uses from the top position. Tarintino is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. McCutcheon wants to get up but he can't break Tarintino's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tom Tarintino has got the better of the ground game so far. Tarintino has his hands on McCutcheon's head, controlling the position. Tarintino manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Tarintino cracks McCutcheon with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Tarintino tries to bum rush McCutcheon with a series of wild strikes but McCutcheon uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Tarintino tries to clinch up. Tarintino advances position into side control! McCutcheon tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck. Frank McCutcheon has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tarintino sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
And that's the end of the fight! Tom Tarintino comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Tarintino winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
