Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between River Greywar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Masakazu Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Greywar comes to the cage accompanied by Written in the stars. Aoki has chosen Sandstorm by Darude as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, River Greywar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
22 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Masakazu Aoki! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aoki uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Aoki looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Greywar is fending him off so far but Aoki persists. Nope, Greywar circles away and we're back to standing. Aoki lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Aoki fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Masakazu Aoki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aoki looks to land a combination but Greywar avoids it well. Greywar scores with a takedown into Aoki's guard. Greywar postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Aoki not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Greywar distracts Aoki with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Greywar is working Aoki over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Aoki throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
This has been an exciting period of action! Aoki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Greywar throws a big elbow that misses. Aoki has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Aoki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Greywar is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Aoki pulls his head out easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Aoki lands strikes from half guard. Aoki missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Aoki throwing shots but Greywar is blocking nicely. Ground and pound from Aoki. Aoki thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Greywar's head. Ground and pound from Aoki. Aoki is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Greywar has managed to free his arm - good work. Aoki is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Greywar looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Greywar looking for submissions off his back.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Aoki is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Greywar defends it well. Aoki landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Greywar looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Aoki looks to land a strike but Greywar avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Aoki landing with the ground and pound. Greywar throws his legs up looking for a submission but Aoki uses it to pass to side control.
Greywar tries to strike from the bottom but misses. Aoki is putting a hurting on Greywar here, landing some big shots from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aoki scoring with punches from side control. Aoki wants to control for a moment but Greywar uses the opportunity to move back to half guard. Aoki has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Aoki is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Greywar! Aoki cracks Greywar with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Aoki lands a heavy elbow. Greywar in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Aoki dominating with strikes here. Greywar throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Greywar takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Greywar is rocked! Greywar on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Greywar tries to get out of the position. Aoki scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Oh Greywar is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Oooh a big shot lands for Aoki! Greywar is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Masakazu Aoki! Our winner, Masakazu Aoki, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
