Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between King Crappler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wilson Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 18 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Crappler!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wilson Gracie!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Gracie.

Crappler tries to sprawl but Gracie drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Gracie is taking a breather. Crappler says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Gracie trying to control the action but Crappler is working from the bottom.

Gracie is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Crappler sees it coming and defends easily.
Gracie thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Gracie looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Gracie thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Crappler's head.
Gracie landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie wants to free his trapped foot but Crappler is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Gracie prevents Crappler from standing back up.
Gracie lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.

Crappler wants to get back to his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Crappler defends it well.
Gracie throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Crappler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie throwing shots but Crappler is blocking nicely.

Gracie is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Crappler has managed to free his arm - good work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Gracie wants to control but Crappler is keeping him busy.
Gracie not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Gracie throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Crappler avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Gracie.
Crappler won't allow Gracie to pass to mount.
Crappler is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gracie scores with a couple of nice shots.
Crappler is trying to stand.

Crappler wants to get back to his feet.
Gracie is looking to take a break and control but Crappler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Gracie seems to be working for a kimura but Crappler defends the submission attempt.
Gracie is keen to just control but Crappler is a slippery customer.

Crappler makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Crappler misses with a wild body shot.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Crappler tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Crappler to the ground. Crappler escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Crappler leaves Gracie with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Gracie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Crappler sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Gracie somewhat.
King Crappler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Gracie.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Crappler sprawls well. Crappler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Gracie gets slowly back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Gracie scores with a punch to the head.
Crappler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Crappler walks forward, straight into a front kick from Gracie.
Crappler throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Gracie has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Crappler falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gracie counters with a nice uppercut.
Gracie misses with a takedown attempt - Crappler sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nice sprawl there from Crappler as Gracie shoots in.
A head kick misses from Gracie.
Crappler's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Crappler duly obliges.

Gracie shoots in for a double leg but Crappler sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
King Crappler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Wilson Gracie.
Gracie misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Crappler closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Gracie quickly recovers to half guard.
Crappler prevents Gracie from improving his position.
Crappler throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Crappler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Wilson Gracie has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Gracie isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Crappler stacks Gracie on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Crappler!

Crappler is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Gracie knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Gracie wants to control but Crappler postures up.
Gracie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Gracie manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Crappler kicks off Gracie and gets to his feet.
Crappler lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Crappler throws a right and a left that both miss.
Gracie throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Crappler falls off balance throwing a combination
and Gracie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Crappler as he avoids it easily.
Crappler pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gracie back to the cage. Crappler follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.


It looks like Wilson Gracie has been cut.
Gracie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
King Crappler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Gracie feints and as Crappler raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Gracie lands a couple of digs.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Crappler is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Gracie is controlling him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Crappler is retaining full guard.

Crappler kicks Gracie off and gets to his feet.

Gracie shoots in and gets a takedown into Crappler's guard.
Gracie postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Crappler has his feet on Gracie's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Crappler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Gracie.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Nice uppercut there from Gracie.
Gracie lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Crappler throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that King Crappler will probably get the nod.

Crappler throws a right and a left that Gracie avoids nicely.
A thudding body kick lands there by Gracie!

Crappler scores a takedown into full mount!
Crappler moves to the back position.
Gracie is in bad spot here.
Gracie trying to control the hands but Crappler breaks the grip.

Crappler is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Gracie with him. Gracie is trying to defend but Crappler has an arm under the chin now! Gracie grimaces and is forced to tap out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). King Crappler!
