Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marcello is looking to clinch.
Jphn should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Jphn looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Marcello closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Marcello escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Damien Marcello seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Marcello shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Jphn pinned against the cage. Jphn gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Marcello has taken the fight to the clinch.
Marcello is trying to trip Jphn. He has hold of a leg but Jphn is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Marcello persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Marcello stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jphn swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jphn is working an open guard so Marcello takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Marcello fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jphn, pushing him back against the cage.
Marcello landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Marcello comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Marcello breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

The referee calls for Marcello to work.

Marcello is striking off his back. Jphn thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard.
Marcello is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Marcello slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Jphn stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marcello swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Marcello has his foot on Jphn's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Jphn works his way back into a safe position though.

Marcello pulls Jphn in close to his closed guard and prevents Jphn from doing any damage or advancing position.

Marcello had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Jphn is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Marcello Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Jphn's back instead.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Marcello tries to keep control of the position but Jphn is staying busy.
Jphn defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
Marcello controlling well, preventing Jphn from escaping the position.
Jphn is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Marcello gets his way!
Jphn tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Marcello looking to land elbow strikes but Jphn uses the position to regain half guard.
Marcello seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jphn does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Marcello escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jphn gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Marcello is controlling Jphn's posture.
Marcello has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jphn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Marcello will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!
The fight stays on the outside here - Marcello looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
The cut above John Jphn's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Marcello lands with a right and another and another! Jphn is in big trouble! Marcello lands again and this time it's lights out for Jphn! A quality knockout there for Marcello.
