Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hu Zhao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stan Marsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhao comes to the cage accompanied by shaolin soccer theme. Marsh comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Kanye West - Amazing kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Hu Zhao has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hu Zhao! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Stan Marsh! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Hirohito Nitta and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marsh is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Zhao's half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Well, if Marsh is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Stan Marsh wasn't active enough on the ground. Zhao misses with a takedown and Marsh counters with a nice double leg into side control. Zhao won't be happy with that. Zhao is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Marsh asserts his dominance and retains side control. Marsh controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh landing a few strikes. Marsh remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Stan Marsh wasn't active enough on the ground. Zhao gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Marsh to score an easy takedown into full guard. Zhao can't keep his opponent in guard - Marsh advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marsh is controlling the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Marsh dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Marsh scores a takedown into full mount! Marsh sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Let's hope that Marsh has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Stan Marsh has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Marsh shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Zhao napping and manages to drive through into side control! Marsh is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Zhao's shoulder. That is not cool. Zhao wants to get back to his feet but Marsh is dominant here and he's now got Zhao's back! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Zhao is trapped and Marsh is scoring with shots to the head and body. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Good control from Marsh.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zhao has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Marsh controls the position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Stan Marsh has got the better of the ground game so far.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Stan Marsh wasn't active enough on the ground. Marsh feints and as Zhao raises his hands in defense, Marsh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Marsh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Marsh bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Marsh just content to control the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
We're going to have a standup here because Hu Zhao wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Zhao has his takedown stuffed and Marsh decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Zhao's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Marsh working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Marsh seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Marsh works a leg free and moves into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marsh performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Hu Zhao wasn't doing enough on the ground. Marsh drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zhao is trying to escape the position but Marsh is controlling the position. Stan Marsh is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Hu Zhao has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
And that's the end of the fight! Stan Marsh comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Marsh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
