Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Kobra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kobra comes into the arena with Original Kobra. Fuck Yeah. blaring out of the sound system. Evans comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Lil jon: Throw it up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! George Kobra could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Anthony Evans's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Anthony Evans!
The judges for this bout are Vladimir Khabensky, Ivan Kurochkin and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Evans misses with an uppercut.
Kobra stuffs the takedown attempt from Evans. Evans gets slowly back to his feet.
Kobra ducks straight into an uppercut from Evans and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Kobra manages to regain guard straight away.
It looks like George Kobra has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Kobra has a closed guard, preventing Evans from standing up.
Evans must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Kobra utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Kobra escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Evans gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Evans wants to control from the top but Kobra keeps moving.

Evans keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Kobra's head.
Kobra utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Evans throws a big elbow that misses.

Evans wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Evans looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Kobra puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Evans tries to get to full guard but Kobra has control of the leg.

The ref stands the fighters back up. George Kobra wasn't doing enough on the ground.

Evans changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kobra looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Evans really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kobra. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Evans in side control, throwing shots but Kobra defends.
Evans cracks Kobra with a big right hand but Kobra just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kobra takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Evans throws a strike aimed at the side of Kobra's head but Kobra avoids it well.

Evans cracks Kobra with a big elbow.
Evans sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kobra is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Evans throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Evans is putting a hurting on Kobra here, landing some big shots from side control.
George Kobra's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Evans creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Kobra sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Kobra is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Jeez, George Kobra's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at George Kobra's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
