Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ivanov fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ivanov throws a right and a left that both miss.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Lina is defended easily by Ivanov.
Lina walks into a straight right hand from Ivanov.
Lina shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ivanov counters with a left to the body.
Dimitar Ivanov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ivanov drops Lina with a beautiful combination! Lina stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Ivanov is looking for the KO!

Lina shoots in for a double leg but Ivanov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

It looks like Lina might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Ma Lina was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ivanov lands with a right hand.
Ivanov jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Ivanov throws a series of punches but Lina moves out of range.

Ivanov lands a big right hand that sends Lina crashing to the mat! Ivanov stays standing though and waves Lina back to his feet!
Lina is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
No luck for Lina with that takedown attempt.
Lina shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ivanov sprawls well. Ivanov wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lina gets slowly back to his feet.
Ivanov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Lina tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ivanov swivels and escapes.

Let's hope that Lina has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Ma Lina hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Ivanov lands a left and a right that send Lina crashing to the mat, dazed. Ivanov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Lina is still on wobbly legs! Can Ivanov finish him?
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lina tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ivanov sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lina somewhat.
Lina seems to have recovered his senses.
Lina closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ivanov circles away.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Ivanov connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Lina tumbling to the canvas! Ivanov pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Lina was done - good stoppage!
